Oh yes! Both are right in the center of the city. The Classic is located not even 20 steps from the Grand Place, in the historic heart of Brussels. The Legacy is a 10-minute walk away, in the middle of the commercial city center, a couple of steps from the City2 shopping mall, the rue Neuve high street, La Bourse and the Dansaert quarter.

Rooms, dorms & beds

Do you only have dorms?
No. The Legacy Hostel has dorms in different sizes (from 5 to 14 guests) and private rooms for 2, 3 or 4 guests. The Classic Private Rooms offers private rooms only. Most Legacy dorms have bunk beds, while some private rooms have single beds.
Can I reserve a specific bed in a dormitory, e.g. a bottom bunk bed?
We do not assign beds in the dormitories at The Legacy. The earlier you arrive, the more chance you have of picking the bed of your choice. We do consider exceptions such as physical disabilities. Please get in touch via the contact page on this website should that be the case.
Do the rooms have private bathrooms and toilets?
Most rooms have en-suite private bathrooms and toilets. At The Classic, the private rooms have en-suite bathrooms with shower and toilet. Some dorms at The Legacy have shared facilities found throughout the building.
I'm a woman travelling alone. Are there female-only dorms?
Yes. The Legacy Hostel has both mixed and all-female dormitories, and will accommodate you in the set-up of your reservation. The Classic offers private rooms only. Please check carefully before booking to be sure you have selected a bed in a female dormitory.
Can anyone book and stay with you?
Almost anyone can! We make no difference in gender, provenance, nationality or race. However, please be aware that: 1. We accommodate adult travellers only, so you need to be 18+ to book and stay. 2. We do not accept Brussels residents, as we want all kinds of different visitors to be able to discover and enjoy Brussels with us. 3. Unruly, disrespectful or disruptive behavior is not tolerated, no matter who you are, and will result in immediate exclusion.
We hear that there are bedbug issues in some cities. Is this a problem with you?
We're happy to say that we were the first hostel in Brussels to have an official no-bedbug certificate. We do regular checks with specially trained sniffer dogs and systematic controls of all rooms and common areas across both The Legacy and The Classic, and pride ourselves on certified bed-bug free accommodation.
